Time to renew the non O retirement visa.

This is the list I've had for a while, wondering if there's been any changes other than the TM6 no longer being required ... ?

1. Passport with Non Immigrant O Visa inside.

2. Photocopies of:

•photo page of passport,

•page showing visa,

•page showing last entry date into Thailand.

3. TM.7 (extension of stay form completed and signed). Attach a passport photo and include phone number by your signature.

4. ~~Departure Card (TM.6) (make a photocopy)~~

5. 2 passport size photos

6. Proof of funds and or proof of income (letter from bank/embassy).

Bank letter cannot be more than 3 days old.

If using the lump sum application route, you'll need an updated photocopy of your bank book page that shows the balance.

Take your bank book along too.

7. Proof of address (copies of rental agreement, and utility bills (if you have them))

8. Application fee of ฿1,900 THB

*Sign all photocopies.

You have the option to renew your Thai retirement visa within 45 days of its expiry date. Nevertheless, it is generally advisable to submit your application between 3 and 4 weeks before the visa expires.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand, you need to prepare the following: passport with the Non-O visa, photocopies of relevant passport pages, a completed TM.7 form with a photo, proof of funds or income, proof of address, 1-2 passport photos, and an application fee of ฿1,900. Note that the TM6 departure card is no longer required. Importantly, it's advised to check with your specific local immigration office for the most accurate and updated list of requirements, as these can vary by location.

Make sure you get your bank book updated on the day or day before also

1 ID-photo is enough.

The rest you have to check with your local immigration.

Good luck 🙏

I went to my immigration office last week and it had gone! I discovered that it had moved up the road into a new building at least 5x the size. Things should be easier now.

This is a general list of what can be required at an immigration office for a yearly extension based on being over 50 (retirement)

It is NOT office specific and I would heed the advice of earlier replies to GO to your office and get the list from them so you can pull off the extension in one try

would you mind sharing this one but for Non O Guardian? Thanks!

we do not have a graphic for that category, GO to your immigration office and get the hand out listing the requirements for parent of a foreign child on an ED visa (guardian)

Get the list from your local immigration office. Chiang Mai has different requirements for example

I agree with Jeffrey. For smoooooth sailing go down and speak with someone to make sure or give yourself a spare day for any changes that you didn't know about if you don't want to go down and ask. When done right it sure is easy-and cheap. I will be doing my third on my own in a few months.

But I think you have it all there. I dont think I saved me list from last time. ooops. I just go and ask usually. Short ride from the house
