What are the health insurance requirements for the non-O visa in Thailand?
For the non-O Visa application number 6 health insurance issued by a Thai or foreign insurer covering general illnesses and number 7 foreign insurance certificate as stipulated by the office of insurance commission and health insurance of Thailand, could someone please explain, Is this two lots of insurance?

Are you applying for O-A visa?? The Non-O visa does not require any insurance, but the O-A does!!

Mickey Thompson NO, you cannot enter Thailand VOA. Only citizens of 31 countries can get a 15-days VOA that they have to buy for 2000 Baht. You can enter Thailand visa-exempt, but that would mean you could only apply for the "change of visa type" to the 90 days Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa if you already have a Thai bank account with 800,000 THB minimum already sitting in it. Nothing is easier than to apply for the Non-Imm-O Visa OUTSIDE of Thailand and enter on this visa.

OPNongnuch Kamdee thank you for that information now that I have found the right page on the website. It won’t be a problem for me. The non-O Visa that I am applying for only as an option for single entry. Do you know if I can get a re-entry permit from an immigration office in Thailand.

Mickey Thompson the reason I ask is that other people are talking about Non-OA vs Non-O. I believe the distinction is that Non-OA is where apply from your home country, which does require health insurance. If you’re in Laos and are applying for a Non-O sounds like you can skip that requirement. Always best checking with immigration/embassy

Mickey Thompson stay in Laos it is easier to apply for a non o there. The only difference is you have to go to the Thai embassy in Vientiane to make payment in cash. Hope this helps.

Those are not requirements for the non-O visa, those are requirements for the non-OA visa. If you are trying to apply for the non-O visa, you selected the wrong options and need to start a new application.

I finally found the option that is most suited for my requirement, it turns out there are three options that appear to be the same not to talk about all the other options that are available as well. This website is a clear indication of what is happening in a Thai immigration department brain a lot but not a lot. 😂Mickey **********
