Extending visa.

I have 30 days left on my 60 day visa.

I will want to extend for another 30 days.

I am now in Koh Tao, will probably go to Chiang Mai, and maybe Koh lanta.

What are my best options for either a visa run, or extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to extend their remaining 30 days on a 60-day visa while traveling through Thailand. Commenters advise that extending the visa is straightforward, requiring a visit to a local immigration office with a fee of 1900 baht. Additionally, if the user has a visa stamp rather than a visa paid for, they may consider a visa run to a border to get a new stamp and then apply for an extension.

I got to do a visa extension this week. I will go to my local immigration office in person and do it. Cost 1900 baht.

Are you actually on a visa you paid for or just a 60 day stamp you got on arrival?

Extension is easy to do.

Depending on your passport you maybe able to do a run to a border and get stamped in again for 60 days plus then do an extension for another 30 days
