Hi, I'm French. I'm actually in Indonesia, so I couldn't get an e-visa. I will have an 30 days stah without visa. But I would like to stay 60 days.

1) could I get à 30 days extension stay in immigration office ?

Or

2) could I go in KL for a visa run and get 30 days again?

Best regards

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, currently in Indonesia, is seeking advice on how to extend their 30-day visa-free stay in Thailand to 60 days. They have two options: 1) Apply for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office, or 2) Leave Thailand for a short trip (visa run) to re-enter and receive another 30-day stamp. The discussion confirms that both options are feasible.

You could either apply for a 30 day extension at your local immigration office.

Or do a border bounce out and return for a new 30 day stamp.

You can only enter at a land border without a visa 2 times per year. No official limit if flying in.
