Hi everyone. I got in thailand through bangkok on the 21 of july and enetered the country with a 30 VOA. I am now in Chiang Mai and would like to extended my VISA for 30 more days. How many options I have and which are those? (I am assuming I can cross the border with Laos and fix it or I can pay here in CM somewhere but not sure where). Thanks everyone for your help. Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user entered Thailand on a 30-day Visa on Arrival (VoA) and is looking for options to extend their stay for another 30 days in Chiang Mai. They are considering options such as visiting the Immigration Office in Promanada for a paid extension of 1,900 THB or doing a border run to Mai Sai to obtain a new 30-day visa exemption stamp. Community members have confirmed that both options are viable, and they have clarified details about the border run and charging fees at the Myanmar border, along with potential proof needed for visa extension.
They put the stamp line 10 pages away...lol. I have it you are right...just didn't think I should have looked on a different page. My fault. Cheers again
Hi everyone. It's me again...sorry. Got my 30 days extension sorted out. I have just noticed there is no proof about this on the passport (see enclosed pic). Only proof I have is the receipt I have paid 1900 bath. Is that enough? Cheers
You can visit the Immigration Office at Promanada for a 30 day Extension of Stay, cost 1.900 Thb or do a border run to Mai Sai as the closed border near Chang Mai for a new 30 day Visa Exempt Stamp.
Tks Robert. One more question please. If I go to Mai Sai and pass the border do I have any time limitation about how long I should stay off Thailand? Would this option be for free? Thanks again
