Hi, suggestions on how to proceed next with visa after the free 30-day visa was extended once?

(Sorry, it might have been asked/answered many times before. But might be difficult to find...)

I'm assuming going to a neighbouring country and apply for a 3-month visa at a Thai embassy would be the best way..? Other options?

what country is your passport from? That can affect what countries you're allowed to use to get a tourist visa

you can go to a thai consulate in a neighboring country and apply for a single entry tourist visa without a problem

Remember though you will only get stamped in for 60 days when you enter the country on a tourist visa
