Can anyone help with a visa extention on Koh Samui?

I've got a 60day visa - expires on the 12th of march but I'm looking to get another 30days

Do I need to go to the embasy or is there a simple way to get the extension?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 60-day visa by an additional 30 days while in Koh Samui, you need to visit the local immigration office as there are no Thai embassies within Thailand. The process is straightforward: bring 1,900 baht for the extension fee along with 200 baht for required passport photographs and photocopies. Overall, it is a simple and efficient process.

Just go to the Immigration Office new Maenam and bring 1,900 baht for the extension itself, and 200 baht for the passport photos and photo copies you will need to make. It's a pretty simple process.
