TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses traveling from Thailand to the UK while avoiding quarantine. It mentions needing to enter from a green or amber country, where one must have stayed for at least 10 days. Other suggestions include considering a stopover in places like Dubai or Abu Dhabi to meet these requirements.

I think the UK is changing system anytime before 1st Oct to a Go or Don't Go system so loads of countries will probably become available if you can hang on a bit.

no, its a human tragedy. And the outcome is being shut in detention here in uk. Few will be given asylum or refuge status.

You have to enter from a green or amber country, where you’ve been for at least 10 days. If amber you’ll need to self quarantine at home.

as far as I am aware UK does not recognise vaccines given outside of Europe or USA so you would still need to self isolate if entering from other countries even if amber. If this has changed please provide a link to relevant evidence.

I thought that point was still in debate. Or maybe I’m confusing it with red countries and the need to hotel quarantine
