TLDR : Answer Summary
A 67-year-old expat in Thailand is seeking advice on extending their AXA health insurance, which ends soon. They reported that AXA advised against extending the insurance due to age. Various commenters suggested alternative insurance companies like Tune and Roojai, discussing the possibility of finding more suitable options or speaking to an insurance agent for advice on permanent coverage. Several suggested contacting local agents for assistance, as well as sharing their personal experiences with AXA and brokers.

Talk to an AXA Thailand agent he can help you to get a permanent insurance provided you make the checkups they want in a thai hospital

Tune or roojai, I might be just accident only but I believe they cover medical too but take a good look. But for sure tune protect.. you can take a look at luma that I believe that tune is the sister company and more competitive but I'm not sure of the ins and outs of that

tune protect.. just Google. Many reasons not to use an agent here. Ask to see their license. Whose license are they really operating under? I would take a good look at the two coverages I mentioned above.. then compare with an agent if you must. You might also take a look at Allianz
