During the COVID there was an announcement that 90 days don't need to done. I recently extended my Non - O visa and wondering if I should do my 90 day. The last time I did 90 day was in April. Would really appreciate if you anyone could advice. Thank you :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an amnesty period where 90-day reporting was suspended. A user who recently extended their Non-O visa is unsure whether they should complete the 90-day reporting now, given that their last report was in April. A commenter clarifies that if they took advantage of the amnesty, they are required to report between August 1 and August 31, but they won't be fined for the late report. The discussion also touches on the possibility of changing to a work visa while on an ED visa.

I am here on ED visa and if I find a work then am I allowed to change my visa to work visa ? If I am allowed am I allowed to study at the same time ? I would appreciate if you give me your advice on this.
Just so you're clear, IF you are on an extension where you do 90 day reporting and you decided to take the "no need to report from March 26 to july 31st" amnesty deal you now HAVE to go file a report between Aug 1 and Aug 31st.
you won't be fined, you'll get a stamp in your passport stating you took amnesty for 90 day reporting and the fine was waived. BUT you need to go file this month
