When does my 90-day reporting period start if I'm on a COVID-19 visa extension in Thailand?

I'm in BKK, arrived on TR30 and on CoViD19 visa extensions since the visa amnesty expired and have never done my 90 days reporting, but one immigration officer today reminded me to make 90 days report.

When is my 90 days started and do I really have to make 90 days reporting?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the 90-day reporting requirements while in Thailand on a COVID-19 visa extension after arriving on a TR30 visa, which has since been replaced with an amnesty program. The response indicates that the counting of the 90 days may vary by immigration office. Some may start counting from the first COVID extension, while others may not, leading to confusion. The recommendation is to check directly with the local immigration office for the specific timeline.

It depends on the immigration office. In Kanchanaburi and Nakhon Pathon, you do not need to do a 90 day report if you entered on a visa, and then gotten the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.

Ask the immigration office for their policy!

There is no TR30 :/ so that means BEFORE the lock down back in March of 2020 you most likely came in on a 30 day visa exempt entry ;) AND you've been here on amnesty and covid extensions ever since.

No one seems to have the exact way they count the 90 days for people who've been here since the lock down, on amnesty and now covid extensions. SOME offices start it from the first 60 day covid extension and it's due 90 days after you apply for that extension BUT not all the offices do.

The bad news is; in order to find out you're gonna hafta go back to your immigration office and ask, BUT the good news is; if you're late the fine is the fine at 2000baht and doesn't go up/
