Is there still an amnesty for 90-day reporting until July 31 in Thailand?

Hello everyone

I’m asking about 90 reporting.

I’ve lived here 15 years, never missed a report. I have not reported since I first heard about this virus, because I am asthmatic.

Is the 90 day reporting amnesty still until 31 July?

Normally I report in Bangkok.

Thanks for responses.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the status of the 90-day reporting amnesty due to Covid-19, confirming their regular compliance for 15 years. Community responses affirmed that the amnesty is indeed in place until July 31, 2020, and provided insights on current experiences at immigration offices, including the option for online reporting and potential delays. Some members pointed out the variance in rules and enforcement due to recent changes, encouraging prompt reporting.

Online reporting is not efficient and does not seem to work for some people.

why do people not do this online? I thought it could be done on the website?

@Steven ***************
yes correct, it's always 90 days from your entry, and then every 90 thereafter until you leave again.

@Steven ***************
that, yes, but it depends also on the phase of the moon and your immigration office, not all immigration offices accept online reports. Also you need to do the first one in person to get into the system, so if you haven't done one before you can't use it.

It doesn't work for everybody. Worth trying.

How long can you go to report before your reporting date is due.

Tried to time mine with 1 year . Depends on officer at time once no problem other time. ?

This year so many rule changes or old laws being enforced. They are making very difficult.

Between the air quality at òne tine being Danger for 2 months.. now its 6 mo's the most polluted city on EARTH, immigration shift. Police squads on all roads, and Covid. New government No reason to put up with a country that doesnt want farangs and states it publically.

Waiting for country to open.

There is an amnesty in effect until July 31st and you technically don't have to report until then (along with THOUSANDS of other foreigners) BUT I recommend when your 90 day report is due that you do it like normal. There's no upside to waiting until July.

There's no one at the immigration office anymore and you'd be in and out in just a few minutes.

AND

There is no covid here in thailand except from the thaiz they're letting back in :O
