my partner's 90 days report was due on 12 of May, he did his 90 days report online but rejected so he did it via mail and we received the mail yesterday with rejected comment "Late". We know normally the 90 days reporting by mail should arrived 7 days before the due date but with the amnesty til July 31, We thought we should be able to do 90 days reporting anytime between now til July 31st. Did we understand it incorrectly? How is the amnesty actually works?Any advise would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The recent 90-day reporting amnesty in Thailand allows expats to report their stay without penalties until July 31st. However, reporting must still adhere to guidelines, and reports submitted late may be rejected, as seen in the user's case. It's important to understand that while late reports are currently not fined, they technically still need to be filed within the allowable timeframe. Options include filing online, through mail, or visiting an immigration office directly.

and I think that
@Sandy *****
now understands the difference between DOING a 90 day report (when you have to do it within the allowable time frame) and taking the amnesty and NOT doing a 90 day report until July 31st.

The upside IS seeing as there's an amnesty on 90 day reporting until July 31st even if you report late there appears to be no fine for it :P

We're done. Good luck,

I was late because of the district lockdowns, nothing said

Been doing mail in for 12 yrs without a problem 15 days before.Last week decided to try out the drive in.Was the only car at 10.45am.Took 90 seconds.Timed it.Dont mess with 90 day reporting just creates potential problems.That was probably my 50th report all same address.

When doing it by mail, what do you need to send besides the TM47?

If you like to do the 90 day report you still have to do it within the guide lines. People who supposed to do this report after 26 March will not be fined for not doing the report but have to keep their eyes on the news on how to get back into the system when this period of Emergency decree rulings comes to an end.
