The Test & Go entry program in Thailand is reportedly making a return, sparking mixed reactions from expats and travelers. Some express optimism about the program's revival during peak travel season, while others criticize the ongoing requirements, such as RT-PCR tests and SHA+ hotel stays for testing. Suggestions have been made for the Thai government to simplify processes, such as offering insurance included in airline tickets, to make traveling more manageable. There are also sentiments that travel to Thailand remains complicated and discouraging due to these regulations.

What a rip off.i hope all the walking atm,s (farang) stay away.$350 dollars for 1 test. Looks like there trying to discourage tourists to return.reap what you sow
What’s the point in traveling to Thailand for a holiday if you have to book two hotels with PCR Test then if negative the bars are closed ? And if you want to visit a restaurant you have to take another covid Test just to eat at a restaurant? Why travel to Thailand for all this hassle what’s the point ?
Still easier than an Australian trying to get into Western Australia where they live. Even from within the east side getting into the west is harder than what Thailand want. But do agree travel certainly is a hassle

Just get back to pre covid and watch the millions every month come and spend on average £1400 on a 3 week holiday with a baht rate of minimum 45 to the British pound. Also thousand of hotels would be saved from closure.

Given all the dirty white Farangs I see without masks, this is going to be a mess.
Richard Barrow is suggesting that you need to be in an SHA+ hotel for your Day 1 and Day 5 tests, due to people not waiting for their results.
Obviously this raises a lot of questions, so we'll have to wait and see the final outcome.

Why doesn’t the Government itself provide the required Covid insurance cover to “cover everything” because it seems like they are “picking up the tab” anyway, and they would at least have all the insurance premiums to cover it?
They could easily mandate that all inbound airlines have to include it in their ticket pricing and pass the money on to the Thai Government.
This would also streamline the application process as it would take out one step that seems to have caused many applicants a lot of trouble, both in the application process and subsequently when making claims?
