TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to obtain a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand at the Thai Consulate in Kuala Lumpur. The consulate issues multi-entry tourist visas as well. However, it's advised to check the specific requirements with the consulate, especially regarding documentation needed for application.

Nobody as far as I'm aware has yet seen one of these ME Visas supposedly issued in KL.
, the financial requirement is pretty much right in line with the $7000 USD needed to get a 6 month METV from a consulate in america ;)

RM30,000 in a bank account for the previous 6 months. Have you seen some of the posts on here? Most would murder your mother for 10% of it ๐

one poster said she got one but wouldn't blank out the data and post a picture of the visa itself. I don't have any reason to doubt here but I have no direct proof that she did it either :/

meet the requirements on the checklist for the KL consulate and you can indeed get a 6 month multi-entry Tourist Visa. You need to show them you are comin' in and out of thailand several times during the 6 months..
