Dunno if this helps, but this is how it all took place for me...

Status was 'Peding Document Check' for over 5 weeks!!! 😣😣🤧

Phone reply: Write an email

Email reply: Wait Patiently

Finally, I walk-in to the consulate during visa-visiting-hours, on a thursday, this is 5+ weeks after I applied ...

Within 30 seconds they check that all is in order and make it 'Pending Approval'

Three days later (Sunday) 9pm (at night) Approved. šŸ™‚

Then apply for my spouse, Next working day it moves to 'pending approval'. A week or so later, it's Sunday again, and BOOM, 1pm (afternoon) Approved. šŸ™‚

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their experience with applying for a DTV eVisa, detailing a lengthy wait of over 5 weeks during which the application was marked 'Pending Document Check'. After contacting the consulate via phone and email multiple times for updates, they decided to visit the consulate in person. Within moments, their status changed to 'Pending Approval' and was approved just three days later. They also mention applying for their spouse's visa which was similarly approved after a short waiting period.
