Is a housing contract required for a visa application through the Yangon embassy?

The embassy I'm applying through (Yangon) doesn't mention a housing contract as part of the required documentation on their site. But just to be safe I'm thinking about booking a 90 day apartment stay through booking.com or similar. Has anyone had that rejected as evidence of housing contract? Plus if living outside of Thailand how to get a proper housing contract anyhow?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the necessity of a housing contract for a visa application submitted through the Yangon embassy. The user is considering booking a short-term apartment stay for documentation purposes despite it not being listed as a requirement on the embassy's website. Responses from commenters indicate that a housing contract is generally not required, as they have successfully obtained visas without it.
