My Canadian passport expires in June 2025. Are they able to transfer the DTV visa to a new passport?

Which countries have you guys had the easiest experience?

Has anybody here tried getting their DTV visa in Manila, Philippines?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus regarding transferring a DTV visa to a new passport is mixed. Some respondents state that visas themselves cannot be directly transferred, and one must retain the old passport with the visa while using the new passport. However, others mention possibilities of having the visa stamped into the new passport at an immigration office. It is recommended to keep both passports (the old one with the DTV visa and the new one) during travel and entry into Thailand.

I think immigration office can stamp the new passport with the DTV. I have had visas transferred to a new passport before the visa expiry date.

You can't actually transfer the visa, you will need to keep and show both passports upon entry and exit until the visa expires, the stamps will be put in the new passport.

Yes, you can transfer the visa to a new passport. There are a couple of posts from Manilla applicants. A walk in application.
