Came in on Non O 3 months visa (Syd).

How long does money need to be in Thai bank to apply for marriage visa?

If it is 2 months, is that 56 days or 60 days?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a marriage visa after entering Thailand on a Non-O visa, you must have 400,000 baht deposited in a Thai bank account in your name for a full 2 months, calculated date to date, rather than by the number of days.

the 400k baht needs to be in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months date to date, nothing to do with days at all

Example you put the money in today May 30, it would be "seasoned" and able to be used for proof of funds on July 30 (2 months date to date)

thanks, seems to fit the thai way of doing things.

Probably best to include february as it's the shortest month... Ha.ha

, it's 2 months before the day you apply, so you've already missed out on using February.

feb is a special one and even on a leap year when it has 29 days they make you keep it in the account a minimum of 61 days ๐Ÿ˜›

I would say give it a few days after it's "seasoned" before you go for the extension
