AFTER MY NON-O VISA I GOT MY ONE YEAR EXTENSION MY QUESTION IS WHEN I GO BACK TO GET MY SECOND ONE EXTENSION IS 40000 BAHT ALL I NEED IN THE BANK?
Answer summary
To obtain a second one-year extension on a Non-O visa in Thailand, your bank requirements depend on your situation. If the extension is based on marriage to a Thai national, you must have 400,000 baht in your Thai bank account for two full months prior to applying. If the extension is for retirement, you need to maintain 800,000 baht in your account for three months after your last extension, ensuring it never drops below 400,000 baht throughout the year, and then back to 800,000 baht for two months before the application. Alternatively, you can also provide proof of a monthly income of 65,000 baht from your embassy.

Martin Hewitt I still have not seen a single Thai Immigration that allows a 1-year married-to-a-Thai-wife extension application based on 12 months of consecutive monthly 40,000 THB transfers from abroad. . . . the only way to use a 40,000 THB per month, is by either showing an embassy certified income affidavit, or by showing you are working in Thailand legally. The 12-months bank statement over consecutive transfers of a minimum of 65,000 THB coming in from abroad, is only accepted for the retirement extension
It depends on which option you chose, either 400.000 bahts, he will make you an account 3 months in advance, or a certificate of your ambassy income Specifying that you have 65,000 baht every month of income.
If your extension is based on marriage to a Thai, then you need to show you have 400,000 baht in your Thai bank account for 2 full months before you apply for the extension.
If it's for retirement, then the requirements 800,000 in the bank for 3 months after last year's extension, never dropping below 400,000 at any point during the year, and then back to 800,000 for 2 full months before this year's extension application.
