TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a 1-year extension of stay based on your Thai wife until the last day of your current NON-O visa. However, it is advisable not to wait until the very last moment. Many suggest applying at least 30 days before expiration to ensure you have all necessary documents ready, as waiting too late could risk not having enough time to address any issues.

You can apply for a 1-year extension until on the very last day of your current stamp. Better not wait too late in case your documents are not enough

Don't leave it too close to the date just in case you don't have everything they need
