Morning Chaps, I have a visa class NON-0 married to Thai Wife which was issued on 15th June 2020. The year extension on this expires 16th May 2021. My play was to visit Korat Imm on 10th May with all the docs....and reapply for another year extension. Is this timing OK? I read somewhere it should be done 30 days before expiring?

I smell some discrepancies. How could he have been issued a Non-Imm-O visa based on marriage on 15th of June in his home country, entered Thailand after this date and only being issued an extension until 16th of May LESS than one year later?

got my visa in Korat, guess the application was 16th May 2020 with 30 days consideration? The stamp is dated 16th June but the initial application date is the start point. I do not leave the country every 90 days. Only do 90 day reporting. Stamp says Non-O

ok, understood. You do not have a visa any more, you have a 1-year extension of stay permit

I believe what you read was; you can apply for a new yearly extension anytime you have 30 days or less left on the current stamp. :)

Which in your case means IF you meet the seasoning requirements for your proof of funds you could apply for your new yearly extension any time after April 16th

I got a under consideration stamp last year

When you apply you will pay the 1900baht and get a 30 day under consideration stamp. Then go back on that date to get the year extension inked into your passport.
