TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're in Bangkok and your NON-O 1 year extension based on marriage is expiring in 2 months, it's advisable to apply for a new extension when you have 45 days or less remaining on your current visa. The application process will be similar to your initial application, but you may need to provide updated financial documents and possibly new photographs.

In Bangkok you can apply for a new yearly extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp. Remember though the seasoning of funds is 2 months before you APPLY for your extension not 2 months from the date your current stamp runs out

They want more proof of finances from the bank and updated marriage confirmation . My extension was just done. All other documents were the same as last year.

It'll be the same process. They may want updated pictures though

you apply for a 'new' one-year extension every year. It's not 'renew' or 'update'. That means you need all of the documents every time you apply.

which doesn't negate

's statement that you can't "renew" an extension :)

Extensions run a year at a time and you're applying for a completely new one every year ;)
