I have a Non-O visa until November 29th, when would be the best time to apply for an extension? Does this have to be applied for 1 month before expiry at my local immigration? Thank you in advance ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The best time to apply for your Non-O visa extension is typically 30 days before its expiration date, based on guidelines from most immigration offices in Thailand. However, it's essential to check with your specific local immigration office as procedures may vary. Additionally, remember that the timing for applying can also depend on the date you entered Thailand and the expiration of your 90-day entry stamp related to the visa.

remember it's not the Non-O VISA that matters at all, it's the 90 day entry stamp you got FROM the visa that controls when you apply for the extension.

What is the date you ENTERED thailand on that Non-O visa and when does (or did) your 90 day stamp run out?

It's immigration office specific, so you'll have to ask them. Most offices it's 30 days before.
