Can my girlfriend file the TM30 online if I move into her house, or can I do it myself?

I'm moving to my gf's house, can she do the TM30 online? As she works M-F so she cannot go to immigration within the 24h I move in. If so, what's the website?

Or, can I do it on my own? We won't have any rental contract - just sharing her house.

She's the owner of the house - her name in the tabian baan.

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form can indeed be filed online by your girlfriend through the specified immigration website, or by using the Section 38 app after she registers. If she is unavailable to file within the required 24 hours of your move, she needs to ensure that her registration is complete beforehand. Alternatively, you can submit the TM30 on your own by providing the immigration office with the necessary documents, including her ID and house book. Ensure compliance with the latest regulations to avoid issues, as enforcement varies.

I've never had this filled out except by hotels. I've been there a dozen times and stayed with friends without reporting for half of my trips. Not sure if they ever followup

I had Phuket immigration come knock on my door this week following up on TM30. Checking those named actually stay at property.

you wouldn't know if a hotel did this. They don't tell you or give you any confirmation.

if you just stay as a tourist for short term it's not a problem. But for everything that needs a visit to immigration it's required: 90 days report, extending your visa, buying a re-entry, getting a residence certificate...

@Joe ******
They are much more strict lately. They are even asking for it when trying to get a 1 month extension for a tourist visa.

I have found different IO different enforcement.

And that can also change day by day. So better to follow the rules to avoid problems.

Yes she can report you with an app.

Is the section 38 app still available? I can't find it on Google Play Store.

Not sure why not on Play store but I do recall wasn't straight forward last time I installed. I have to use it constantly to register tenants each time they leave the villa. It is a pain.

maybe because it's restricted to Thailand and you have your Google Play account configured in other country - it's the same with the DLT app, or the LineMan apps, by example.

create a new "Thai" Google account and you can see section 38app at Google play store. Your GF have to register and it works fine. Also web page is ok. Easy handling....

When I was staying at a friends place, I just took the form filled out and signed, a copy of his thai ID and house book signed and submitted them at immigration with no problems.
Adam ********
They have an application also called Section 38. Once she sets up the registration. Save the login name and password. Then everytime you come back to her house from being at a hotel or overseas you can fill it in within the 24hrs

The website is here. She would need to register before she can file for you.

Or she can search for Section 38 app
