Residence registration question
Hi all. US passport here, on a 1-year retirement extension that began on December 26 2022 & expires Jan. 31, 2024. We’ve since bought a condo in Bangkok, & there was a delay in registering as the owner because the condo didn’t have a blue book - the number in the blue book is required to set up an account online. Once I got that blue book, I registered online as the owner.
The problem: I just now returned from traveling outside Thailand & am having problems registering myself online as staying at my own home.
My question: My original 90-day check in was set for March 27 - would it make sense for me to go immigration around that time, next week, & try to straighten out the whole thing re: online reporting of location? The system just will not allow me to complete that form online.
Thanks for any advice!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A US expat on a one-year retirement extension in Thailand is struggling with online residence registration for their condo in Bangkok after returning from travel. Despite having registered as a property owner, they are encountering issues completing the online form to report their home address. They are considering visiting the immigration office for clarification on their 90-day reporting requirements and online registration troubles, but express uncertainty if this visit will be helpful.
