Advise needed : if you are on a visa extension (retirement) issued in Chonburi - got the re-entry stamp and need a new passport which will be issued in your home country - how will you get back to Thailand ? Is it possible to get the visa extension and re-entry stamp transferred to the new passport at the thai embassy in your home country ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for transferring a retirement visa extension and re-entry stamp to a new passport involves using both the old and new passports. Upon returning to Thailand on the old passport, you can visit any immigration office, including in Chonburi, to request the transfer of your visa extension and multiple re-entry stamps. It's also recommended to update your address using the TM28 and TM30 forms, as these may be required for processing.

If you change your address with the TM28 form and if needed the TM30 form of your new place, immigration office there should do the transfer.

Just use both passports, Extension and re-entry stamp are from Immigration, the Thai Embassy is part of Ministry of Foreign Affairs so I don't expect them to have the stamps.
