What should I do with my visa and re-entry permit when I get a new passport in Phuket?

As soon as you get a new passport, you visit with the letter of your Embassy and both passport your local Immigration Office to transfer your Extension of Stay and possible Re-Entry stamp to your new passport. If you use a valid Visa, you use both passports on exit and entry Thailand. No need for some people to carry the passport for you.
