Go to immigration and request a TM28. Explain the situation, often Air B &Bs and Hostels, do not meet the requirements.
The hostel dont have to provide it, they have to register you in the immigration app. Once that done, its to you to go in immigration and collect the paper.
When I do my TM 30s for my customers to stay there really isn’t no proof that I submitted it. It’s just an Excel sheet that has your information that it was submitted, but there’s no document created saying submitted it with this person’s name.
