Hi, I am wanting to get my certificate of residence to obtain my car driving license.
I am usually in Phuket studying at a language school but have been involved in a serious bike accident so as well as renting a condo in Phuket, I have also just rented a condo in Bangkok while I’m in and out of Hospital and studying online instead.
Would it be possible on the grounds of being in Bangkok for medical treatment and having a condo with TM30 here to get residence cert here in bkk than having to go Phuket?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about obtaining a certificate of residence in Bangkok for the purpose of acquiring a car driving license, as they are currently in Bangkok for medical treatment after a serious bike accident while usually residing in Phuket. Responses clarify that a residency certificate in Bangkok requires a 90-day report, which may not be feasible depending on the user's visa category, and highlight the need for a Thai bike license if they plan to ride again.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).

In Bangkok they will only issue a residency certificate if you have filed a 90 day report - which you can’t do unless you’re on a visa that allows such. Phuket doesn’t have this restriction.
