TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around advising someone on how to obtain a visa for their girlfriend to visit Australia. Suggestions include joining an Australian visa group for accurate information, using a visa agent, and focusing on establishing strong ties to Thailand to enhance the chances of approval. Several contributors shared their experiences, stressing the importance of documentation such as employment statements, payslips, and bank statements to demonstrate reasons for returning to Thailand.

Over the last seven years my lady has had Three UK visas, Two Australian visas and One Schengen Visa. Her experience in obtaining these visas has been that the most valuable document is the statement from her employer showing position, length of service and salary. This is paramount. Also payslips and bank statements are required. As others have indicated some evidence is required to show people have a solid reason to want to return to Thailand. She just got her third UK visa two weeks ago, and it took about five days. With her previous visa history she's looked upon as a no-risk applicant. Never used an agent. Just full in the online application which is very easy and submit the required documents

At the top of the page in this group, search for โAustralia visaโ in the search field. Youโll find many previous posts similar to your own, and lots of helpful advice. Good luck.

they use a points system to determine eligibility, very hard for single Thais to get visas for AU visit

My Advice is Make sure she has good ties with Thailand for her to go back . An agent won't change anything in my opinion they won't guarantee an approval when it's pretty much easy to apply yourself . But Iike I said provide everything you can to prove she will go home . .I tried once but failed and she even had a kid and a elderly mother but Australian government don't give a shit that's why I'm going there instead

Use an agent, cost me $360, included the 1 year Visa.
