Important factors they look for:- prove length of your relationship, employment history, job title, salary and length of service. Also include bank statement and any property holdings. What they are looking for is substantial reasons for her not to remain in Australia.

Yes, just apply yourself it is not too hard, just make sure you have all your ducks in a row, as they are denying quite a few visa applications, if your girlfriend owns her own property, has a secure job, a history of savings, and other valid reasons to return to Thailand she may be ok. You should also include a introduction letter, stating your salary, job, own your own property and are willing to support her during her stay. Also have a lot of evidence of your relationship, photos, emails etc, best to have too much paperwork than not enough. Also be aware that your application fee is non-refundable. If you are denied they will explain why in the decision letter. Good luck
