Sorry to disturb all you busy people. I read on one post update that the UK embassy is now issuing covid 19 extension letters. Called Embassy in Bangkok but on hold for 30 mins and then phone line dropped. 

Does anyone know how to get this letter? is there an email address?

OK, thank you so much Tod. I only have proof my bus to Malaysia was cancelled. I assume many are in the same boat. But thank you for putting the email address here for those who need it. :D

PROVE you had a flight out that was cancelled, PROVE your new flight out is after your stamp expires and MAYBE they'll issue you the letter

There is no letter. If your visa is expiring you're better off contacting an airline to get home

My understanding is that they are not issuing this letter; I have never heard anyone who has received it yet, OR the letter has been accepted by Thai immigration.

The best you can do is to call them again.

Flights are *still* running to the UK. Get on the next flight as soon as possible. Don't hope for that letter.
