Sorry to disturb all you busy people. I read on one post update that the UK embassy is now issuing covid 19 extension letters. Called Embassy in Bangkok but on hold for 30 mins and then phone line dropped.
Does anyone know how to get this letter? is there an email address?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns the process of obtaining a COVID-19 extension letter from the UK Embassy in Bangkok, as the poster reported difficulties contacting the embassy. Responses from the community indicate confusion and skepticism about the issuance of such letters; many suggest there is currently no letter being issued and recommend alternatively booking a flight home.
OK, thank you so much Tod. I only have proof my bus to Malaysia was cancelled. I assume many are in the same boat. But thank you for putting the email address here for those who need it. :D
My understanding is that they are not issuing this letter; I have never heard anyone who has received it yet, OR the letter has been accepted by Thai immigration.
The best you can do is to call them again.
Flights are *still* running to the UK. Get on the next flight as soon as possible. Don't hope for that letter.
