Has any British citizen on here been able to get a visa extension letter from the British Embassy in Bangkok and how did you go about it please?

I’m here staying on a Non B Visa that is due to expire on April 7th.

I’ve had 2 return flights with Thai Air cancelled in recent days and it looks like the flight I have been re-scheduled on for the 31st of March will not be taking place.

I’m staying in Khao Lak, I know Phuket has a consulate but can not find an email address to write to and ask for this letter that the Thai immigration will be needing to grant an extension.

Thanks for any assistance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British citizen staying in Thailand on a Non B Visa is seeking advice on obtaining a visa extension letter from the British Embassy in Bangkok due to flight cancellations. Community members have shared that one can apply for the letter by emailing the embassy with a copy of the passport's biodata page, entry stamp, and visa stamp. Additionally, visiting local immigration with evidence of flight cancellations may help in getting an extension.

Can anyone confirm if you can show the email on your phone or do you have to download it, which I cannot do. !

Hi, yes I emailed the British Embassy in Bangkok on Wednesday and received my letter by email today. I am also on a Non B. I have not yet been with it to Immigration so can't confirm that outcome.

I got rescheduled to and on checking my ticket I saw my connecting flight BKK - LHR took off before my starting flight in Phuket.

I’m looking at trying to get an earlier flight to still make BKK - LHR, but I’m covering myself in case I can’t.

Good luck and I hope you fly safely.

Sorry for any misunderstanding caused by my post.

thanks, does the email have to be worded specifically to get it? For example they will know what I’m requesting and why?
