Hi guys sorry if this has been asked, I'm in chiang mai and have a USA passport

I got my visa renewed via border run at Mae sai on March 5th.

Then I got a 1,900 BHT extension at immigration allowing me to stay until May 3rd ( as shown in photos )

I as well got a letter from my embassy requesting to stay longer due to the pandemic.

There is news that those stuck in Thailand due the the pandemic, and have arrived in Thailand after a certain period ( I believe it was after march 1st , but now I read another updated article that it's after march 26th ) can extend there Visa's until the pandemic subsides.

Does anyone know the truth of this matter yet?

Can I extend another month from may 3rd until June 3rd from the letter I have from my embassy?

Or is my extension waivered because I entered Thailand after March 1st? ... Is it March 1st or March 26th?

It's a proposal, NOT a fact.

You can stay until May 3rd. Check back in this group around late April

The extension of stay based on COVID-19 virus is for you to get some extra time to catch a flight back home. You are NOT wanted right now in Thailand by the Thai government. You ARE wanted by your home country. Go home.
