Has anyone gone to Vietnam to apply online, left the country after and been approved, then exit and re-enter thailand to be on dtv

Someone posted, within the past few weeks, they applied in Vietnam e-visa and left Vietnam before the DTV was issued. They were asked for additional information and additional proof they were in Vietnam. Some embassies clearly state you must be in the country until your DTV is issued, so you need to be aware they can deny if you can't provide proof.

Anonymous participant there's NO link. It's common sense. If you want to get a DTV Visa from a Thai Embassy or Consulate in Vietnam or wherever...go to the country, make application for the DTV visa using the Evisa online application system, stay in the country and be prepared for questions from for added documents or even a personal interview with the Thai Embassy or Consulate. Then return to Thailand.
