Is there a standard time window for renewing non-o retirement visa before expiry, or does it depend on the immigration office?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can typically apply for the renewal of a NON-O retirement visa during the last 30 days of your stay, as long as you are over 50 years of age. Some immigration offices may allow applications up to 45 days before the visa expires.

At most Immigration Offices you can apply for an Extension of Stay based om being over 50 years of age during the last 30 days of your Admitted to Stay period. Some offices allow 45 days remaining.
