TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements for extending their Non-O volunteer visa, which is set to expire on October 10, 2020. They are unsure whether they need to visit immigration for a stamp to extend their stay until October 31, 2020, or if they can simply apply for a new visa before the expiration date. Comments suggest that they may automatically be granted amnesty until October 31, but they should verify with immigration regarding any extension options.

From my understanding even if your Visa is expired they're giving amnesty until the end of this month. But you might want to call and check with the immigration just in case.

correct, if your current stamp expires you would automatically go on amnesty until the 31st of Oct

If you have a 90 day stamp from a Non-O visa you got inside the country and it expires on the 10th of Oct, you will go automatically on amnesty until the 31st of Oct.

If they do offier the free 30 day extension to Nov 30 it would NOT apply to you at all.

@Benjamin *****
OP is much more likely on extension for three months because he said did it in July and I believe he'd do same process of extension again..
