What steps must I complete to extend my stay in Thailand after marriage and through the end of amnesty?

My Timeline:

Feb. 16 - Entered on 2mo. Single Entry Tourist Visa purchased in Buenos Aires consulate (currently on Amnesty)

May 1 - Married with Thai ladyfriend

Aug. 31 - Completed 400,000 baht foreign transfer from bank in USA to Bangkok Bank (coded in bank book as "FTT"). Seasoning started.

Please confirm the steps I must complete to remain in Thailand past Sept 26 end of amnesty:

#1. Bring Thai wife to Muang Thong Thani to apply for a "2 month Visiting Thai family" extension by appointment only. This gets me on a hard visa and off "amnesty"

#2. After #1 is complete, go back to Chaeng Wattana for my initial 90 day Non-O Visa. Do I wait until Oct. 31 for 400k to season? Or can I do this same day as #1 if 2 month seasoning is unnecessary for initial 90 day Non-O?

#3. Before 90 days passes, extend Non-O Visa for 1 year at Chaeng Wattana

I tried to scrape together as much information from previous posts as possible. Apologies if this process was summarized previously. ๐Ÿ˜€ Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user outlines their timeline for staying in Thailand with a tourist visa and their plans after marriage. They seek confirmation on the steps to extend their stay past the amnesty period. The steps involve applying for a 60-day family visiting extension, followed by obtaining a 90-day Non-O visa. Comments clarify that the 400,000 baht transfer does not need to season before applying for the 90-day visa.

I would definitely GO get the 60 day visit thai family extension at MTT, then go right over to Chaengwattana Section C-1 and get the hand out that lists your requirements to apply for the in country 90 day Non-O visa based on marriage. That way you know what documents you need to compile etc.

#1 is correct,

#2 there is no requirement that the 400K baht be in the bank any amount of time to apply for the 90 day Non-O visa in section C-1.

You only show that it was transferred into a thai bank account in your name from abroad

You will apply for the 90 day Non-O visa, you will get an under consideration stamp telling you to come back in 14 days and then you just show up with your receipt and passport and they stamp the Non-O visa and a new 90 day entry stamp into your passport

then when you have 45 days or less left on that 90 day non-O stamp (AND your funds have been in the bank account for 2 months) you go back and apply for the year extension.
