Can I have a return ticket dated after my METV visa expiry when I enter Thailand in October?

Hi all, i need some information. In e few months at the end of October, i will return to Thailand with METV visa which will expire at the end of April. Just before the visa expires i will go to Cambodia and then immediately return to Thailand to get another 60 days. What i need to know is: When i arrive in Thailand in October, my air ticket will have to have the return date prior to the original expiry of the visa, so at the end of April  or i can safely do it with return by the date of extension of the visa, so approximately for mid- June ? Thank you

When you arrive in Thailand and this is before the Valid Until date on your visa you get 60 days of stay and you can apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay. You're onward travel should be within 90 days of the day you enter Thailand.

If you arrive in Thailand after the Valid Until date on your visa, in this example 30 April 2020, you get the 30 day Visa Exempt entry. For Example: You enter 2 May 2020, 30 day Visa Exempt Entry till 1 Jun 2020, than 30 day Extension of Stay, will bring you up to 1 July 2020.

You not even have the VISA yet but okay. Let's say that the Valid Until date on the visa is 30 April 2020. If you enter Thailand just before or even on 30 April 2020 you get 60 days of Stay, this will bring you to 29 Jun 2020. Before 29 Jun 2020 you can apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay, added to 29 Jun 2020 brings you to 29 July 2020.

Yes, you can. But as I do not know any dates, it is hard to tell on which day this flight should be.
