Hi i got some question. 2 actually.

1. My visa expired in the middle of the amnesty (may 1). My last stamp was from a border run to laos. Can i get extended again using the normal requirement of do i need a letter from the ph embassy?

2. Bews say that you can only extend in nonthaburi or can we still extend in our local immigration office in pathumthani?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has questions regarding visa extension after their visa expired during the amnesty period. They want to know if they can extend their visa using normal requirements or if they need a special letter from the embassy, and whether they can extend at their local immigration office or only in Nonthaburi. Comments clarify that if the user had no visa during the amnesty, they should be able to obtain a regular 30-day extension from their local immigration office before the amnesty expires.

and after you got that stamp you went right on to amnesty SO you can then go get your "regular" 30 day extension from the immigration office for 1900baht as long as you do it BEFORE the amnesty runs out (before the 31st)

thank you for answering my question this is a lot of help.

okay, so you had NO visa at all and instead had only a 30 day visa exempt entry from bouncing out and back at a land border right?

AND

You never applied for a 'regular' 30 day extension and instead went right on to the amnesty program right?

IF the answer to those two questions are yes, then you CAN go to your local immigration office and get a 30 day extension for 1900baht BEFORE amnesty expires.

You do not have to go to Muang Thong Thani Immigrations, that was a bad english translation of the thai news article..

If you are wanting an extension from a 30 day visa exempt entry, a 60 day tourist visa entry, a 15 day visa on arrival entry, OR to do your 90 day reporting or file a TM30 you now go to the Muang Thong Thani Immigration office
@Fede****
if you're in bangkok you go to this office for the 30 day extension
