Hi all. I’ve just extended my yearly visa by the Retirement method with 800,000 in the bank. I have to go back in 3 months to prove I still have the required balance, and they (Nakhon Phanom immigration) want to see my bank book and a copy of the same. My question is, do I need anything else? I have been told by a friend that I will need a letter from the bank too - is that true?
Any advise or help to stop me having to queue at a busy IO twice would be greatly appreciated
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully extended their retirement visa in Thailand and seeks advice on additional documents needed for verification in three months. There are mixed opinions on needing a bank letter; while some suggest just updating the bank book is sufficient, others recommend confirming directly with the immigration office.
