TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you need to do 90-day reporting while extending your stay on a DTV visa in Thailand. You must visit your local immigration office to report your stay, and ensure a TM30 form has been filed for your residence. Bring your passport and any necessary documents related to your accommodation.

This is what you need when you go. Note that first you obtain the copy of tm30 if you dont have it already, for that you need different documents (if rent, the lease, copy of housebook and owner ID)

Ensure a TM30 has been filed where you stay and head to the immigration office serving the area where you live with your passport

90 day consecutive stay requires immigration to be notified. Go to your local immigration office for the initial report.
