Do I need to get a new DTV if I switch companies while working remotely in Thailand?

Probably a dumb question please be kind. If you have DTV on remote work and you switch companies (still working remotely), do you need to get a new DTV? Or you can just report the change? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you switch companies while on a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) and continue to work remotely, you typically do not need to obtain a new visa. Most respondents agree that as long as you continue your remote work situation, you can simply report the change if necessary, especially when extending your visa after a certain period (usually 180 days). If you extend your stay or plan to make any significant changes, you'll need to provide the new job information, but otherwise, there’s no immediate requirement for a new DTV.

You will not need to do anything unless you extend via an immigration office which would require new job info/contract to be submitted.
