Do I need to file my TM30 again upon re-entry to Thailand if I am returning to the same address?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Update: my real estate provided all the documents I needed and I was able to go to immigration (udon thani) and file it myself. They glanced over the documents and just added a new 90 day report to my passport. In and out in less than 10 mins.

Hi folks, just did my first re-entry into Suvarnabhumi from Sydney. No problems at all, no questions, just stamped and on my way. One question I have however is, ive heard i have to have my tm30 filed again. Is that true? I'm still at the same address. And is there anything else in regards to immigration that i need to do since ive re-entered?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully filed a new 90-day report at Immigration in Udon Thani after their first re-entry into Thailand from Sydney. They inquire about the necessity of re-filing a TM30 form upon re-entry, as they have remained at the same address. Community responses clarify that TM30 filing requirements can vary by immigration office, and typically, a new TM30 filing is required after every re-entry regardless of whether the address has changed.

There is always one anonymous who claim it is not my responsibility, it it the land lord.

BUT they have no clue about rules, that is why they do not use their name.

According section 77 of the Immigration act the foreigner NOT registered within 24 hours of arrival of that address can be find up to 2.000 Thb.

It is the land owner OR house owner OR landlord OR house master OR possessor (translated by Immigration, the foreigners who pays the rent) or the manager from the hotel who has to report within 24 hours.

Talk to the person you pay rent or hotel desk if your report is done.

Talk with your local Immigration Office IF there is leniency for travel in the province, outside the province or even abroad.

It varies by immigration office so you need to ask your local immigration office what their policy is. Each office also change their policy from time to time, my local office has gone from never needing to file again to needing to file on return from abroad to needing to file if you spend a night away even inside Thailand

Every new entry on a DTV gives a new permitted to stay stamp in your passport. Each new stamp needs a new TM30 regardless if returning to the same address.

Technically yes, but that's the responsibility of the owner of the place where you live.
