Evening all, I have a small query (apologies if this has been asked previously). I entered Thailand on the visa exemption program (45 days + extension of 30 days). And have successfully just obtained a Covid visa extension. So i'll be coming up for 90 days fairly soon. I went to report for my 90 day check in (in BKK), and was informed by two different immigration officers that I did not need to do a 90 day report on "my kind of visa"...I didn't want to question or challenge them too much, and understand each immigration has their own policy...but I just don't want to be in trouble down the line...has anyone else had the same experience? or think this is normal/abnormal? anything to worry about?...thank you all in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about their requirement for a 90-day check-in after entering Thailand on a visa exemption and recently obtaining a Covid visa extension. They received mixed responses from immigration officers, with some stating that a check-in is not necessary for their type of visa. Comments suggest that immigration policies can vary by location, advising the user to consistently use the same immigration office for future visits to avoid potential fines.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).

Just be careful and try to keep using the same office for subsequent extensions or anything else you need because if you go to one of the offices that does require it, they will fine you. It makes no sense but it is what it is.
Different immigration offices have different policies. I think that's the policy for Bangkok. I know it's the policy of Nakhom Pathom (next to Bangkok).
