I’m currently at the Jomtien Immigration to do a 90 day report. I arrived visa exempt on November 27. I had a 30-day extension and an unable to travel (COVID) extension that is good now until March 31.
So my 90 day point was on February 25. The lady here looks at everthat I brought and sees the March 31 stamp and tells me that I don’t need a 90-day report today. She says to come back within a week of the March 31 date.
I went back to double check with her pointing out my November arrival stamp and she still says no need today.
I plan on leaving before the end of this month but I don’t want to get fined for not reporting a 90 day stay.
Am I okay to go home without reporting?
Thanks for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessity of filing a 90-day report at Jomtien Immigration given their current visa situation. After receiving a COVID extension valid until March 31, the immigration officer advised that a 90-day report was not required at this time, suggesting it could be deferred until closer to the extension's expiration. The discussion in the comments outlines that under typical circumstances, a 90-day reporting might not be necessary if the individual is on a visa exemption and has subsequently received a COVID extension.

Most likely IF Jomtien requires 90 day reporting on the Covid extensions, your 90 day timer would not have started until you got your first Covid extension. For the most part coming in on Tourist Visa or visa exempt does not start a 90 day timer since those visas/extension cannot go over 90 days.
