Do I need to do a 90-day report if told it's not necessary during my visa extension process?

Hi all, I went to MTT today to get a 60 day extension because of Covid. I came into the country in March 2020 on a 30 day tourist visa.

I noticed that on the previous stamp it says that I have to do a 90 days report and that confused me. I asked the immigration officer at the 90 days reporting desk if I needed to do it but they said NO. Is that correct? Just don't want to get any trouble. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessity of a 90-day reporting after being told by immigration that it was not required during their visit for a visa extension. A commenter advised that since they received confirmation from an immigration officer at the time of their extension, they should be fine and suggested confirming again at their next visit.

If you were there today AND you asked them about it when you got this current under consideration stamp AND you were told no you didn't need to worry about it by an immigration officer I'd say you're okay.

Ask again when you go to get the "loop closed" on the 9th of Feb (just in case you do need to seeing as you'll already be out there)
