Hi 

Next year we will be coming on a 6 month multi entry tourist visa.  After 60 days we can apply for a 30 day extension.  Then we will need to leave country and come back. Can I get another 30 day extension after another 60 days?

Like Tod said, you can get as much as 9 months out of a METV, however, you need to enter Thailand as soon as you receive it. Weeks not having entered is weeks lost at the end of the expiration date, where you can do the last re-entry.

Yes you can, you are allowed one 30 day extension on each 60 day entry of the METV.

Most people who max their stay out on that visa can get almost 9 months of stay (270 days) from it
