Good morning.

I have renewed my passport while in Thailand in march this year. Elite visa and arrival stamps have been transferred into the new passport.

I'm leaving Thailand for the first time with the new passport, flying from BKK.

Any chance an IO wants to see the old passport as well when I leave next week and when I come back next month ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After renewing your passport and transferring your Elite visa and arrival stamps to the new passport, you typically will not need to present your old passport when exiting or re-entering Thailand. The new passport will contain a note indicating the transfer of your visa and stamps, making the old passport unnecessary. However, it may be wise to carry the old passport with you just in case, as some travelers have encountered requests for their previous passports at immigration.

okay boyz and squirrellz this is about an ELITE VISA

and when you get a new passport you get a NEW elite visa sticker in the new passport and they move your current entry stamp/extension to it too

This is not about someone holding dual nationalities, not about a Non-O or an OA or an OX visa/extension stamp transfer, it's about an ELITE VISA which is handled totally different than "real" visas

you will ONLY need the new passport

Take it with you just in case. I have dual Nationality and was once asked at immigration for the second passport that I barely use. Fortunately I had it with me.

If you already had Elite transfer the VISA to the new passport along with your last entry stamp that's all you need to get out/back in

They won't ask to see the old passport because there should be a note in the front of the new one stating you arrived on the old one (it's in the transfer stamp)
